How I can help
People come to counselling for many different reasons. Sometimes there’s a clear issue they want help with; other times it’s a general sense that things don’t feel quite right.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, stress, and anger, often when these feelings have been building quietly over time or are starting to affect day-to-day life, relationships, or wellbeing.

Below is a little more about the areas I commonly work with. You don’t need to fit neatly into any category, these are simply starting points.
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up in many ways, racing thoughts, constant worry, physical tension, or a feeling of being on edge much of the time.

Many people experiencing anxiety are coping well on the outside while feeling exhausted or overwhelmed internally.

Stress
Stress often builds gradually through pressure, responsibility, and the demands of everyday life. It can leave people feeling stretched thin, unable to switch off, or constantly “on”.

Over time, stress can start to affect sleep, mood, relationships, and enjoyment of life.

Anger
Anger can be difficult to talk about, particularly if it brings feelings of guilt, shame, or concern about how it affects others.

For some people, anger feels close to the surface; for others, it’s held in until it comes out unexpectedly.

If you're not sure where you fit
You don’t need to know exactly what you’re struggling with to come to counselling. Many people arrive with overlapping feelings, anxiety mixed with stress, or anger sitting alongside frustration or sadness.

Counselling offers a space to slow things down and make sense of what’s going on for you, without pressure to label or explain everything straight away.
